Retail banking

Multinational corporation having many outlets dispersed countrywide. Locations in large cities and very small towns. The company language is English. One or more employees in every location need to communicate effectively in English. Due to varying levels of language competence, forming homogeneous groups proved impossible. It seemed like the only feasible solutions comprised one-to-one tuition, sending staff to local language schools or... leaving them high and dry if neither was on offer. The HR department had little control over the training and progress.

There was no comprehensive supervision of the language acquisition process. Invoicing and cost control were problematic as well. Thanks to incorporating the virtual classroom technology into the training system it was possible to create same ability groups consisting of people working in different parts of the country and sometimes abroad. Virtual classroom training was delivered by qualified trainers, experienced in teaching with the use of modern technologies. A comprehensive training and cross-charging system was introduced across the entire organisation. We ensured the administration of the program including reporting to the HR department.

Apart from the benefits described above our clients and virtual classroom trainees:
  • are exposed to living language and authentic materials through learning assisted by new technological solutions,
  • have the possibility of unlimited repetition of recorded material,
  • can watch classes they missed, thus not accumulate backlog,
  • obtain tailor-made programme,
  • gain comprehensive training and administrative service.

Metoda Worldwide School Virtual Classroom (WSVC) is a perfect solution for companies whose  training problems are linked to multi-site structure both in Poland and abroad as well as for those companies whose workforce cannot take part in regular training programmes due to professional constraints.
